Future Rock releases 'One Day' on 1320 Records

Future Rock releases a new album ‘One Day’, out Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 on 1320 Records. Chicago’s electronic rock stalwarts Future Rock continue to pound out pulsating beats with the verocity of a 70′s era rock band.  Future Rock went back to basics when they sketched out the title track, ‘One Day’ - live synths, simple layering, key of D Major - that’s all they really needed. In many ways, the entire album follows this trend.

Even the more complicated tracks on ‘One Day’ have a basis in the organic, tonal, live synth methods from which FR emerged. 'Tranzmission' is a driving progressive house anthem, while 'Tremble' is pushing, yet cerebral and spacey composition.  The long-awaited studio version of the über-catchy anthem, ‘Reaching New Heitz’, finds it home on the new album, as well as FR's remake of The Chemical Brothers 'Midnight Madness'.

Brooklyn's Thibault has created yet another masterpiece with his banging remix of 'FM1000'.

Fanatic followers have long hailed the Future Rock arena-rock electronic sound. This six-track EP is the undeniable Future Rock feel.

To celebrate the announcement, Future Rock and 1320 Records have also re-released a remastered version of the 2011 EP 'Nights' with three additional remixes. Brooklyn's Thibault turns the title track 'Nights' into an epic electro banger, Asheville's Mindelixir mutates 'Spark' into a quirky dubstep masterpiece, and Jesse Miller of Lotus (a.k.a. Beard-o-Bees) transforms '$$$$$' into a trippy, fuzzed-out groove. The remastered version of 'Nights' is available for FREE download on both the 1320 Records and Future Rock websites.

Future Rock to perform at Camp Bisco 11 in Pattersonville, NY

Future Rock will perform at Camp Bisco 11 taking place July 12th-14th, 2012 at Indian Lookout Country Club in Pattersonville, NY. Camp Bisco 11 will feature 3 days and nights of music on 5 stages, including 2 side-by-side Main Stages, 2 Dance Tents featuring top international Dance acts as well as a Silent Disco and an Up & Coming stage. Future Rock to play Camp Euforia just outside Iowa City, IA

Future Rock will perform at the the 9th annual Camp Euforia, a boutique music festival taking place July 13th-14th, 2012 at in Lone Star, IA (just outside of Iowa City, IA). The festival started in 2003 as Euforquestra's "Fan Appreciation Party" and has since grown in to a full-blown music festival featuring 20+ bands over two days on two different stages.

Future Rock announces NYE 2012 plans!

For the seventh consecutive year, Future Rock will ring in the New Year (2012) at home in Chicago!  This time, Future Rock will be join The Disco Biscuits at the beautiful Auditorium Theater on December 31, 2011. When these two bands get together, things tend to get rowdy. Expect exactly that. Doors open at 7:30pm.  Tickets are $65.00 and are ON SALE NOW!

5-show Halloween run hits Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas!

Future Rock is will play a 5-show Halloween run this October!  The run starts with a return to Milwaukee WI at the Miramar Theatre and Minneapolis MS for a first time play at the Cabooze.   The run then continues with a long awaited return to Iowa City IA at Gabe's, before two Halloween blowouts in Springfield MO at American Legion Post 676 and on Halloween proper in Fayetteville AR at George's Majestic! Future Rock returns to Colorado and Kansas for Three Show Run!

Future Rock is officially returning to the great states of Colorado and Kansas for 3 shows this October 6th, 7th, & 8th.  The run starts with a first time play in Aspen CO at the legendary Belly Up, continues down to Denver CO for a long awaited play at the Larimer Lounge and finishes with a blowout at The Bottleneck in Lawrence KS. Future Rock announces 2nd leg of Spring Tour, support from The Polish Ambassador and Sub Swara! NYC is now a LATE SHOW!

Future Rock announces the second leg of 2011 Spring Tour! The Northeast, Mid-Atlantic & Midwest are about to experience full-on electro-bliss.   Chicago based Future Rock will hit old favorites and new stops in Philadelphia, Boston, Rochester, Albany and Fairfield CT w/ special guests for each show, as part of the 2nd leg of Spring Tour 2011.

Electro and mashup maestro, The Polish Ambassador (1320 Records), will join Future Rock on the first leg in NYC, Burlington VT and Buffalo as support.  The Polish Ambassador creates 8 and 16-bit inspired synth pop, and uses a variety of triggers and midi to create a truely live show each time out.  Also of note, the NYC show is now a LATE SHOW.  So don't fret, you can see everything on 4/15 in NYC (The Disco Biscuits @ Best Buy Theater, FR/Polish Ambassador at Bowery Ballroom).

Brooklyn's Sub Swara will join FR for all four dates in the Midwest, plus Philly and Boston.  Sub Swara's sound is meticulously crafted for both dancefloor intensity and cerebral curiosity, and ranges from dub to hip-hop, dancehall to punk rock, and all the global sounds in between.
