Future Rock to play Summerdance Festival 2013 with Lotus in Ohio!

Future Rock will officially be joining this year's Summerdance Festival! Taking place August 30 - September 1, 2013 at the picturesque, historic festival site, Nelson Ledges Quarry Park located in Garrettesville, OH (Northeast Ohio) and featuring two nights of Lotus along with a handful of like-minded artists.

Future Rock to play Hangout Music Festival Kickoff Party on May 16, 2013 in Gulf Shores, AL

Future Rock will perform at the Hangout Music Festival Kickoff Party on Thursday, May 16, 2013 in Gulf Shores, AL. Come experience a whole extra day of music as a preview to the festival at the Hangout site featuring 14 acts over two stages, including:  Umphrey's McGee, Benny Benassi, Railroad Earth, Dillon Francis, Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, LOTUS, Hayes Carll, Conspirator, Quixotic, Reptar, Wick-it, St. Paul and the Broken Bones and more.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 18 at 11 AM EDT at http://hangoutkickoffparty.eventbrite.com. Tickets are $45 or, for those who have already purchased three-day general admission passes, $20 (service charges might apply to tickets purchased online). The Thursday Kickoff party is free to holders of VIP, Super VIP and Big Kahuna passes.

Future Rock announces April Tour Dates!

Future Rockannounces April Tour Dates with stops in the Northeast (Brooklyn, Philly, Burlington) and Midwest (St. Louis, Iowa City, Grand Rapids, Columbus, Chicago), as well as a long awaited return to Austin TX. The run will culminate with a blowout performance at the House of Blues in Chicago on April 27, 2013. Other highlights include a return to the Brooklyn Bowl on 4/18, a blowout at Union Transfer on 4/19 in Philly, and a 4/20 performance at Higher Ground in Burlington VT. Joining FR on the last six dates of the tour will be Luke the Knife, the DJ moniker under which Luke Miller of Lotus combines Funk, Disco and Indie Dance supplemented live with guitar, keyboards, and percussion.

Future Rock to headline House of Blues in Chicago on 12/29 with Com Truise and Thibault

Future Rock at House of Blues Chicago 12/29/2012Future Rock will celebrate the end 2012 with a headline performance at House of Blues in their hometown of Chicago, IL on December 29, 2012. Fresh off a summer that included monster performances at North Coast Music Festival, Camp Bisco and Summer Camp as well as the release of ‘One Day’ album, available as a FREE download on both the 1320 Records and Future Rock website, Chicago’s electronic rock stalwarts Future Rock continue to pound out pulsating beats with the verocity of a 70′s era rock band.

Joining in on the party will be New York electronic musician Com Truise, as he performs a special live set with a drummer, and Austin bred, Brooklyn-based electro maestro Thibault.

The Com Truise sound incorporates fragments of Joy Division, New Order, and the Cocteau Twins, but it’s like you’re hearing them through the motherboard of a waterlogged Xbox-demented and modern. He’s got a way of making familiar things sound beautifully hand-smeared.

Thibault is what happens when south Austin indie wanders into the throbbing neon forest of electro funk. He is thrift store denim beats pounding through a four hundred foot mountain of platinum Marshall stacks.

Future Rock postpones DeKalb 11/29, Davenport 11/30 and Grand Rapids 12/1 shows

Due to a death in the family, Future Rock regretfully announces the postponement of the upcoming shows in DeKalb IL on 11/29, Davenport IA on 11/30 and Grand Rapids MI on 12/1. Our thoughts are with our band member and his family. Future Rock IS WORKING with the promoters and venues to RESCHEDULE these shows, and we expect to be able to announce the new dates very soon. Future Rock apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused any of our fans.

If you purchased tickets through the Future Rock Fan Ticket Center, refunds will be automatically processed. If you purchased tickets through the venue, refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
