Come experience a whole extra day of music as a preview to the festival at the Hangout site featuring 14 acts over two stages, including:  Umphrey’s McGee, Benny Benassi, Railroad Earth, Dillon Francis, Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, LOTUS, Hayes Carll, Conspirator, Quixotic, Reptar, Wick-it, St. Paul and the Broken Bones and more.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 18 at 11 AM EDT at http://hangoutkickoffparty.eventbrite.com. Tickets are $45 or, for those who have already purchased three-day general admission passes, $20 (service charges might apply to tickets purchased online). The Thursday Kickoff party is free to holders of VIP, Super VIP and Big Kahuna passes.

The run will culminate with a blowout performance at the House of Blues in Chicago on April 27, 2013. Other highlights include a return to the Brooklyn Bowl on 4/18, a blowout at Union Transfer on 4/19 in Philly, and a 4/20 performance at Higher Ground in Burlington VT.

Joining FR on the last six dates of the tour will be Luke the Knife, the DJ moniker under which Luke Miller of Lotus combines Funk, Disco and Indie Dance supplemented live with guitar, keyboards, and percussion.
